A breakthrough in cost/performance for the fire alarm industry.

DeafSafe ultra can be used for far more than only alerts for deaf people. For example, this system can be set up so that if there is a fire alarm system error, DeafSafe can notify the engineer by pager so that they can come and attend to the fire alarm error quickly.

It is important to maintain standards as described above because we only use standardised components that have approvals when we supply fire alarm related components with DeafSafe Ultra.

Our original DeafSafe ultra unit used just four dry contacts but some while ago we upgraded the main OEM unit to accommodate seven dry contacts that can be switched from either open to closed sensing or closed to open sensing. This allows us to program the unit with completely customised messaging suitable for all applications. As shown in the image to the right DeafSafe ultra comes in a fire alarm box with batteries as standard and wiring ready to go as you connect up to the fire alarm system. The image shows our older four contact unit, but the replacement is very similar inside the box.

Range on the transmitter is in open air around 80 metre distance (dependent on the building), but by using our range extender that can be improved to multiple buildings on-site if required.

A new option is our 'smart-repeater' that ensures no repeater bounce between range extenders on-site which can be critical when messaging is essential as in the case of fire alarms.
